DEDICATED TO SHARING GOD'S LOVE
Mount Sinai Baptist Church is dedicated to sharing the love of God through preaching, teaching, singing, praising, worshipping and serving. Originally known as Cattail Baptist Church, Mount Sinai was built in 1751. After the Civil War, the building was used as a rest stop for travelers to feed and water their horses. The building was later used as a school and a place of worship. July 13, 1869, the church was dedicated and Rev. Thomas Sampson served as the first pastor. We commemorate the rich history of our church family by striving to be a beacon of God’s light in our community. We are small enough to know you and big enough to serve you. Our doors swing on the hinges of love.

INSTALLATION OF OUR PASTOR-ELECT
Pre-installation luncheon will be held Saturday, July 22, 2017 at 1pm at the King William Senior Center 8306 King William Rd. Tickets $25.00. Limited seating. Please contact a Mt. Sinai member for tickets. Installation Service Sunday, July 23 10am at MSBC. Lunch will be served at Acquinton Elementary School at 1pm and afternoon Installation Service to follow at 3pm

Meet Our New Pastor-Elect!
Our congregation comes together before God under the leadership of Pastor-Elect Rev. Dr. Charlene Gresham. A passionate preacher, a beacon of knowledge and a spiritual guide — we are proud to call Rev. Dr. Gresham our leader and a great example for all of our members. She is making history as the first female pastor of our great branch of Zion! Dr. Gresham, her husband Deacon Gresham and their beautiful children have shown their love and dedication to God, the Mount Sinai Baptist Church, and the community as a whole. We look forward to a future of Kingdom building and to serving God and His people. We are excited for the installation of our new pastor
